Ever since January 2018, we at TRI Soft have been developing a complete solution – FluurMat Hardware with easy to install educational games, as well. We are proud to announce that it is finally here!
Why now?
Initially, we thought to offer FluurMat as a combination of virtual-floor enabled video games. Since we envisioned FluurMat to be a modular and affordable virtual floor system, we did not consider the option to go for a full-blown product. However, during our participation in the BETT show, we met and spoke with a lot of visitors, clients, and even competitors. What we found out was people are looking for an entire end-to-end solution.
What is so special about this setup?
Firstly, FluurMat works with most commercial off-the-shelf projectors. It does not matter if you want to use a DLP, LCD, or LED projector. It does not matter if your projector has a huge or small frame body – it can be mounted on FluurMat. However, the quality of the projected virtual floor will vary. It all depends on your individual needs. If you plan to mount FluurMat on a ceiling in a classroom, a 4200+ lumens projector will be sufficient. For malls and retail centers, we recommend 5000+ lumens projector. For casual use or children’s parties (indoors), a 3000 lumens projector should do the trick. An inexpensive LED projector also works for this usage. Secondly, FluurMat can be adjusted to work with various lens positions. The reflective mirror can be rotated sideways. In addition, the projector itself can be rotated closer or further away from the mirror if needed. Last but not the least, our system is quite modular. If you decide that for some reason you do not want the complete solution, we can advise you on the modules that will best fit your needs and requirements.
